Things to do around the area

Belair National Park Holiday Park is your gateway to tonnes of family fun activities. This area has so many adventures and things to do so you’re sure to never be bored for a second.

Adelaide and it’s surrounds are an amazing area and can keep you easily entertained for months with new things to do and different places to visit every day.

Adelaide City

Adelaide is the gorgeous capital city of South Australia and has plenty of culture, flavours and events. The city is easily accessible by train from Belair National Park or a short 11km drive. The city has plenty of amazing restaurants, things to do and things to see. 

Glenelg

Glenelg is a coastal town of South Australia, west of Adelaide CBD. It has amazing food, and a gorgeous high street to walk down. With wonderful boutiuque shops and cafes it will be a great day out. There are also tonnes of bars and attractions to try out such as twighlight cruises, swimming with dolphins and more.

Mt Lofty

Mt Lofty and Cleland Conservation Park offer some amazing tourist attractions such as Cleland Wildlife Park, Mt Lofty Summit and the scenic Waterfall Gully. Cleland Wildlife Park has hundreds of native Australian animals and you can feed kangaroos and koalas!

Victor Harbor

Victor Harbor is a beautiful coastal town of South Australia with tourist opportunities at every turn. Urimbirra Wildlife Park is an amazing open-range wildlife park where you can feed kangaroos, pat koalas, feed emus, and see hundreds of Australian animals. There is also Oceanic Victor where you can swim with Australian fish. Big Duck is also a fantastic experience that takes you out on the boat to get close to seals, sealions, dolphins and even whales!

Belair

Belair has the Belair National Park but also other places to visit such as the Windy Point Lookout and numerous cafes and restaurants. Two well known 5 star restaurants in the area are the Windy Point Restaurant and Lenzerheide, both being just a 10 minute drive from our Holiday Park.

Hahndorf

Hahndorf is only 20 minutes from Belair National Park and is a gorgeous German village with shops, galleries, studios, cheese makers, leathersmiths, jewellers, craft brewery, cellar doors, distilleries, chocolatiers and even more! Tonnes of activities such as strawberry picking, beer tastings and mini-golf!

McLaren Vale

McLaren Vale is the best place for wine in South Austrlia and home to some of the world’s oldest grape vines. This region offers plenty of fine wine, food, art and nature. The level of class and attention to detail at the wineries is fantastic and every place has a different vibe and uniqueness to it allowing for days worth of winery hopping.

Murray Bridge

Murray Bridge is home to Monarto Zoo which is the largest open-range zoo in the world and home to more than 500 animals. The park is designed to give the animals as much space as possible so they can roam freely and safely. This is a great day trip from Belair National Park Holiday Park and will guarantee a day filled with great memories.

Wittunga

A series of picutresque paths wind their way through the 15ha property with collections of South Australian, Australian and South African plants. Picnics by the lake are always popular.
